Doh! Do a MR to include IAH-DAL. ExpressJet used to run them on that route all the time.

Mornin' Box,
Attention airplane watchers! There is a fairly new bar & grill at IAH that I think you'll like, especially with regard to the view: it's Chili's Too in Terminal A, which is now easily accessed by the TerminaLink.
Chili's Too in term A features expansive floor to ceiling windows with great views of the ramp as well as of aircraft departing to the southeast on the parallel runways. I was there last Thursday afternoon in time for the LH & KL 744 departures in addition to AF, BA and CO 777 departures. And an added bonus was the east-west runway located on the south side of the airfield was being used for arrivals from the west with a steady stream of aircraft (mostly 737s with "United" on the fuselage).
Check it out! The margaritas are not bad, the beer is cold, the food is fine and it's an alternative to the various PCs at IAH.

I thought ExpressJet got rid of all of the E135s. (I have that one several times from the late, lamented ABE-CLE route.)

CO Express use to fly the ERJ 135 across town between IAH and Ellington Field (EFD) in Houston. It was a nice way to get to IAH from the south side of town (near the Johnson Space Center) and also pick up an additional 500 miles. Free parking at EFD, too. However, this route is long gone as well....

Unfortunately ExpressJet dropped the ERJ-135 completely in late 2008. Before that they were pretty easy to find out of IAH.

Yeah, I miss EFD. They dropped service there a few months before I started traveling every week for work. Had that not happened, I would have had three good years of living in Houston, flying out of EFD nearly every week of the year, and I'd have about 120,000 more lifetime EQMs than I do now, as well as probably around 100,000 more RDMs.
And that's probably exactly why they dropped EFD.

Aside from American Eagle, the only other 135s that I am aware of are from Chatauqua, who has flown them from time to time for DL. Caveat; I have not seen one of them in that service for quite some while, at least since before the NW merger.

I did two EFD segments before it went away.
Free parking was great!

Many, if not all, of the Chautauqua ERJ-135s are former ExpressJet aircraft.
