Max hated his new town and felt comforted by his bedroom, which was at the very top of the house. In reality, this home was not on a stage or created by the movie's production team — it's a real house that fans can stroll by. After Max embarrassed himself by giving Allison his phone number in the middle of class, he stopped her in the park outside of school to apologize for how brazen he was. Allison pretended to give her number back to Max but as fans know, she was just returning the note he passed to her.

Nevertheless, at the start of the film, Thackery was a teenage boy cursed by the Sandersons in the 1600s for trying to save his sister from harm.

In the 1600s, a small village was shown where Thackery and even the Sandersons lived. This village is still around today and can be found atPioneer Village (ForestRiver Park,98 West AveSalem, MA.). The website notes that for a small fee, fans can roam three acres of land that makes them feel like they're thrown back in time.

Wave At Allison's Family's Mansion

Over the years, there have been theories that the character Allison was a witch. Due to her knowledge of the Sanderson sisters and how closely her mom worked at the museum, it's a compelling theory.

On Halloween night, Max and Dani visited Allison's house for trick-or-treating. Allison's home was so lavish that the siblings couldn't help but gawk. In reality, fans can stroll by this fake residence, which is thePeabody Essex Museum (318 Essex Street, Salem, MA.). After school, Max biked through a cemetery to get home. However, he was stopped by two bullies who asked where he was going and who he was. What's worse was that the two antagonists stole Max's nice, expensive shoes right off his feet.

Salem's tourism siteexplained that this scene was filmed at Old Burial Hill (Orne Street, Marblehead, MA.). The site also noted that it's "one of the oldest graveyards in New England" and can be visited by tourists.

A small detail that some fans may have missed was that the town's Halloween party was held at Salem's Old Town Hall (161 Essex Street, Salem, MA.).

On Halloween night, Max and Dani's parents went to a massive Halloween party with the whole town while they went trick-or-treating. The Sanderson sisters showed up at the party because they were looking for Max, Dani, and Allison. While there, they realized they could put a spell on the town that worked in their favor. The three sisters then put on an amazing rendition of "I Put A Spell On You," which was one of the more beloved moments in the film.

In the movie, the Sandersons broke intoJohn Bailey High School to capture Max, Dani, and Allison, who did their best to end their lives by putting them in the art room's furnace.

One of the smaller characters from the first movie that would have been fun to see in the second was the Devil and his wife.

On Halloween night, the Sanderson sisters assumed a man dressed as the Devil was theactual Devil and addressed him as Master. They entered his home and did their best to make a good impression. Funny enough, the bloggerI Am Not A Stalker found the residence in Whittier, California — not Salem.
