Overview* Saint Joseph East is a 217-bed full-service community hospital located in the rapidly growing southeastern section of Lexington Kentucky. We provide care for patients in Fayette and surrounding counties. At Saint Joseph East ambulatory surgery 24-hour emergency care and women’s health services are supported through a vast array of inpatient and outpatient program. Additional specialty services include Heart Care Breast Care Sleep Care and Weight Loss Surgery. CHI Saint Joseph Health supports 5000 active employees 8 hospitals specialty clinics and a Medical Group with more than 200 locations across Central and Eastern KY. Responsibilities*
Job Summary / Purpose* Provides patient care/services based on identified needs/developmental level for all patient populations.
Care/services may include assessment of individual patient needs; incorporation of age-specific characteristics in patient education, communication, and planning; provision of individualized care relevant to patient needs; and recognition, monitoring, and provision of interventions as appropriate.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities*

Complies with Hospital/Department/Unit policies.
Documents activities consistent with Hospital/Department/Unit Guidelines.
Performs critical/frequent procedures or services.
Provides care/services based on identified needs.
Uses required equipment for providing care/services.
Consults with Hospital/department resources.
Demonstrates professional responsibility as per job classification.
Demonstrates Core Values Guest Relations/Guest Service Standards.
Demonstrates Core Values Based on Behavioral Standards.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications*
Required Education for Staff Job Levels* Graduate approved curriculum for Physical Therapy Assistants
Required Licensure and Certifications* Certified by the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* Adequate conversational English is required in order that the individual be able to take direction from management, understand how to complete job tasks, communicate adequately with patients and co-workers as necessary, understand and follow safety guidelines, and understand the Associate Handbook and all hospital policies.
Pay Range* $29.00 - $29.00 /hour
